LinkedIn Wend #120 Answer — (October 6, 2026)
Wend · Trace every hidden word through adjacent letters · puzzle #120
The answer
Stuck on today's LinkedIn Wend? The answer is right above. Below, how today's puzzle works and three hints, if you'd rather solve it yourself. Other games today: Mini Sudoku · Patches · Zip · Queens · Tango · Pinpoint · Crossclimb.
Wend #120: 24 letters and 4 words, with every letter used exactly once. There is an X on the board; few words can use it, so it pins its word down fast. The blank squares cut the grid into lanes, which leaves the letters beside them fewer ways to go.
Hints
Hint 1: where to start
The dead end at row 1, column 1 is where to begin. That M ends a 4-letter word.
Hint 2: a solid foothold
It spells EXAM, along row 3, column 2 → row 3, column 1 → row 2, column 1 → row 1, column 1.
Hint 3: nearly there
The longest word left has 8 letters and starts with T at row 3, column 3. The rest of the tiles sort themselves out.
