Trace hidden words through a letter grid. You only know how long each word is — and every letter is used once.
Rules
- The grid hides four to seven words. Grey tiles are walls.
- The rows under the grid show one blank per letter — you know each word's length, not the word.
- Drag through adjacent letters (up, down, left, right — never diagonal) to spell a word. Words can bend as much as they like.
- Every open tile belongs to exactly one word. When all tiles are used, you're done.
- A wrong trace flashes red and clears. Use Hint to reveal the next letter of the shortest unfound word.
Strategy tips
- Count the open tiles. The word lengths add up to that number, so there is no slack — every tile is spoken for.
- Tiles with only one open neighbour must be the first or last letter of a word.
- Find the shortest word first: it has the fewest possible paths.
- Rare letters (J, Q, X, Z) narrow things down fast. Start from them.

What is Wend?
Wend is a word-path puzzle: hidden words snake through a grid of letters, each tile used exactly once. LinkedIn launched its version in June 2026. Ours uses the same rules with our own grids and a common-English word list.
Can words go diagonally?
No. Only up, down, left and right.
Where do the words come from?
A list of about 6,700 common English words, 3–8 letters. No proper nouns from obscure sources, no abbreviations.
