How the solver works
It follows the Word Hunt rules: a word is a chain of neighbouring tiles, in any of the eight directions, using each tile at most once, and it has to be at least three letters long. The solver tries every chain on the board against ENABLE, a public-domain list of about 170,000 English words, so it finds every word in that list, not a sample.
Words in bold are everyday English and the ones Word Hunt is most likely to accept. Lighter words are valid in ENABLE but rarer, and GamePigeon's own list leaves some of them out. Tick "Everyday words only" to hide them.
On the example board above, the longest everyday words are RETAILER, ALTERED, EARLIER, RELATED and TRAILER.

Only length matters, not which letters you use. One four-letter word is worth four three-letter words, so a quick plural or an -ED ending on a word you already have is often the best use of a second.
Tips for a higher score
- Look for endings first: S, ED, ER, ING and EST turn one word into two or three.
- A corner tile has only three neighbours and an edge tile five, so words through the middle are easier to extend.
- Pairs like TH, ER, RE and ST are everywhere in English; find them on the board and read outwards.
- Rounds last 80 seconds. Grab the long words from the top of the list first; they are worth more than a handful of short ones.

How do I use the Word Hunt solver?
Type the 16 letters of your board into the box, left to right along the top row, then the next row, and so on. The words appear as soon as the 16th letter is in, longest first. Tap a word to see its path on the board.
Why does Word Hunt reject some of these words?
The solver uses ENABLE, a public-domain list of about 170,000 English words. GamePigeon uses its own list, which leaves out some rare words. Words shown in bold are everyday words and the safest to play; lighter ones are valid in ENABLE but may not count in the game.
How is Word Hunt scored?
Only length counts: 3 letters are 100 points, 4 letters 400, 5 letters 800 and 6 letters 1,400. Longer words score more; published figures for 7 and 8 letters differ (1,600 to 2,200), so this page shows them as 1,400+.
Can words go diagonally?
Yes. In Word Hunt each letter connects to all eight neighbours, including diagonals, and each tile can be used once per word.
Does it work for Boggle?
Yes. Switch to 5×5 for Big Boggle, and tick "Qu tile" so that typing Q gives the Qu cube.
Is my board sent anywhere?
No. The word list is downloaded once and the search runs in your browser.
