Zip #514 is a 8×8 grid with 10 numbered cells and 16 walls. The long haul is 4 → 5: 27 cells, so that stretch has to sweep a whole region before it can turn. Remember the path must cover every cell, so dead-end pockets have to be entered and left in one pass.

From 1 at row 7, column 7, the first moves go up, left, down, left, up.

Hint 2 — a solid foothold

Leg lengths in order: 1→2 is 1 cell, 2→3 is 3 cells, 3→4 is 7 cells, 4→5 is 27 cells, 5→6 is 16 cells, 6→7 is 2 cells, 7→8 is 2 cells, 8→9 is 1 cell, 9→10 is 4 cells.
