Easy Pips answer — September 29, 2025

4×3 board · 4 dominoes · 4 regions · by Ian Livengood

Easy today is a 4×3 board with 4 dominoes and 4 regions. Rules on the board: 1 sum region, 1 "all equal", 2 "greater than". Best foothold — the two-cell region at row 4, column 1 adds to 0: both cells must be 0. After that, the "=" region starting at row 1, column 1 has 4 cells that must all match — every 1 in the puzzle should come here.. Rack check: 1 double, 2 blank halves.

Hints

Hint 1 — where to start

The two-cell region at row 4, column 1 adds to 0: both cells must be 0. That's the 0–0 domino, or two 0s from different dominoes.

Hint 2 — first domino

Place the 1–0 domino with its 1 at row 3, column 1 and its 0 at row 4, column 1.

Hint 3 — second domino

Next, the 1–1 goes at row 1, column 1 → row 2, column 1. From there the rest should fall into place.

Solution

Tap any cell to reveal its pips, or reveal the whole board. Region rules: = must all be the same number; >3 must add up to more than 3; 0 must add up to 0; >2 must add up to more than 2.
